How PETIVIA Handles Orders: Samples, QC and Shipping
How PETIVIA handles orders from samples to shipping: inquiry and sampling, production quality control, inspection, export documents and delivery options, explained for importers.
Importers work with us for one practical reason: to reduce the distance between a product idea and a container of sellable goods. PETIVIA is a Shanghai-based pet care products supplier for importers, distributors, retailers and pet brands, and our order process is deliberately plain so you always know what stage your order is in. This is how it works, without the marketing gloss.
It starts with inquiry and sampling. Tell us what you want to sell: product type, target market, quantities and packaging ideas. We will come back with options and honest comments about what is realistic. Samples are available on request so you can check material, print and finish before any commitment. Where a photo cannot answer a question, a physical sample usually can.
Once you approve a sample, we agree the specification in writing: materials, dimensions, colors, print files, packing and the tolerances both sides accept. This step sounds administrative, but it is where most order problems are prevented. We then place the order with a vetted production partner and track it against the agreed timeline.
Quality control runs through production, not only at the end. Depending on the product we check incoming materials, key dimensions, printing, stitching or sealing, and packing accuracy during the run, and we do a final inspection before shipment. We do not claim a certificate you cannot verify; instead we offer practical checks and clear reporting on what was inspected and what was found.
- Third-party inspection: if you want an independent inspection before payment or shipment, we can coordinate arrangements with the agency of your choice and share the results openly.
- Packing for the route: export cartons, pallets, poly bags and labels are agreed up front, because how goods are packed decides how they arrive, especially for wipes and other moisture-sensitive items.
- Shipping options: sea freight for full and consolidated containers, air freight for urgent restocks, and courier for samples and small trial orders are all available; we recommend a route based on your volume and timeline.
- Export documents: we prepare the standard shipping and export paperwork for your destination and tell you clearly which local requirements, such as registrations or import testing, remain your responsibility.
- Payment and terms: terms are agreed per order and confirmed in writing before production; ask us about the options available for your situation.
MOQs are flexible and depend on the product and customization level, so there is no universal number to publish. If you are comparing suppliers, treat the process itself as part of the product: clear sampling, written specifications, honest QC reporting and dependable shipping are what prevent expensive surprises.
